IXL Learning, developer of personalized learning products used by millions of people globally, is seeking an Associate QA Analyst focused on UI and front end testing. The ideal candidate will have a passion for technology and education with an ability to work closely with our product managers and engineers to develop and execute test strategies for a variety of exciting new features. There are QA job openings on several teams, including mobile apps, IXL web, and business tools. This is a full-time position in our Raleigh, NC area office. The work schedule for this role is Monday-Friday in the office with the option to work from home one day per week. #LI-NF1WHAT YOU'LL BE DOINGEnsure quality on our front-end web applications with a strong focus on UI testingReview business requirements and develop test plans, test cases, test estimations, and test execution reportsPerform functionality, regression, integration, UI, smoke, exploratory, stress and performance testingManage all communications related to QA status on a daily basis and report potential risks during all stages of development lifecycleWork closely with development and product teams to resolve any issues that arise out of the testing processAnalyze test results and facilitate resolution of issuesIterate on existing testing processes and standards to improve efficiency and accuracyWHAT WE'RE LOOKING FORBA/BS degree requiredAbility to work both independently and on a wide variety of teamsPassion for making bullet-proof applications and improving education through technologySelf-motivated, detail oriented, proactive and collaborativeExcellent written and verbal communication skillsKnowledge of JIRA, Unix, SQL, JavaScript, CSS, source control, and mobile device development is a plusABOUT IXL LEARNINGIXL Learning is the country's largest EdTech company.
