Sr. Electrical Estimator

Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled Sr. Electrical Estimator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in estimating electrical projects, including the ability to read and interpret blueprints, prepare accurate proposals and estimates, and manage change orders effectively. This role will require collaboration with project managers and other stakeholders to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget.

Key Responsibilities

• Review and analyze project plans, specifications, and blueprints to prepare accurate and detailed estimates for electrical projects.
• Prepare and submit comprehensive proposals in response to Requests for Proposals (RFPs).
• Collaborate with project managers to understand project requirements and scope.
• Utilize estimating software, such as Accubid, to generate precise cost estimates.
• Manage change orders and provide updated estimates as project requirements change.
• Conduct site visits to assess project conditions and gather necessary information for estimating.
• Work closely with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain pricing and ensure accuracy in estimates.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as an Electrical Estimator or similar role in the construction industry.
• Strong knowledge of electrical systems, materials, and installation processes.
• Proficient in reading and interpreting blueprints and technical drawings.
• Experience with estimating software, particularly Accubid or similar tools.
• Excellent mathematical skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines.
• Journeyman's License or equivalent certification in electrical work is preferred.
