Job Description

AmeriGo Fx is a contracted service provider for FedEx and we are seeking several reliable, motivated, and dedicated Delivery Drivers to join our team. Ideal candidates are attentive, responsible, ambitious, and driven to excel in providing excellent customer service and safe operations. This role would require extensive travel to help service distressed terminals in the region. Training would be completed in Chavies, KY and then you would be assigned to a team traveling to other locations.

CANDIDATES MUST BE AT LEAST 21 YEARS OLD TO QUALIFY.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate delivery vehicles to pick up and deliver packages to designated locations.
• Follow established routes and schedules while adhering to traffic laws and safety regulations.
• Ability to load and unload packages, including lifting and moving heavy items.
• Perform routine vehicle inspections to ensure safe operation.
• Follow planned delivery routes using GPS navigation.
• Provide exceptional customer service.
• Utilize systems to maintain accurate delivery and pick-up record, including any discrepancies or issues encountered during transit.

Qualifications

• Valid Driver's License with a clean driving record.
• Ability to pass background and drug tests.
• Physical stamina for lifting and carrying.
• Committed to working as a team to achieve company goals.
• Excellent time management skills to ensure timely deliveries while maintaining quality service and safe operations.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a box truck for deliveries, adhering to all traffic laws and regulations.
• Load and unload products, ensuring proper handling to prevent damage.
• Plan and follow efficient routes for timely deliveries.
• Provide exceptional customer service during interactions with clients.
• Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation.
• Perform routine vehicle inspections and maintenance checks.
• Assist in warehouse operations as needed, including inventory management.
• Utilize manual transmission vehicles when required.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations.

Experience

• Previous experience as a Delivery Driver or in a similar role is preferred.
• Customer service experience is essential for maintaining positive client relationships.
• Warehouse experience is beneficial for understanding logistics and inventory management.
• Familiarity with commercial driving regulations and safety practices is required.
• Experience with heavy lifting, moving, and operating forklifts or pallet jacks is a plus.
