Account Manager In Water Treatment Industry

We have an immediate need for an Account Manager in Water Treatment industry located in or around the Fresno Area. This is a hands on technical sales role, working directly with customers to evaluate health of water systems.

Territory/Location Information: This position is based out of a home office and will cover about a 150 miles of area.

Remote role

Travel: 80-100% within territory

Comp: $80K-$100K plus commission plan

Responsibilities

• Increase annual invoiced gross profit dollar by following KSP (Kurita Selling Process)
• Find qualified partners
• Build Trust through Engagement
• Be a creative problem Solver
• Propose customized Solutions
• Close the business and become a long term partner with customer
• Create unique shared value for customer by advising and achieving environmental, financial, asset health and sustainability goals
• Support current customers with regular water testing, equipment maintenance and individualized system analysis, communicating those results in a professional, clear and concise method.
• Work with Kurita internal teams to provide an outstanding customer experience

Critical Success Factors

• Conduct all job functions safely - no accidents
• Maintain current customer base
• Service accounts per agreement
• Demonstrate proficiency and expertise in boiler I cooling I equipment I pretreatment /analytical & waste treatment
• Demonstrates Value-added services and ROI via Service Reports and Business Reviews
• Complete and update contract agreements and work sheets, submit to CSR's and accounting as required
• Provide training assistance with Sales Rep I, II & III.
• Assist with meeting account commitments throughout Region as required
• Sell new business at an agreed upon rate
• Maintain Key Regional and National Accounts
• Assist with Regional meetings and activities
• Participates in a Customer Sales Seminar or Regional Initiative
• Be active in professional and trade organizations
• Target sales quarterly
• Be a designated principal trainer for a new rep

Qualifications

• Technical Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience
• 5 plus years of water treatment or industrial plant experience
• Prefer working knowledge of boilers, cooling towers, and wastewater treatment systems
• Professional history of meeting goals and overcoming obstacles
• Self driven, with the ability to perform at a high level in an autonomous work environment
• Prior experience that required excellent communication skills
• Prior experience that required excellent organizational skills
• Prior experience that demonstrates a strong work ethic
• Must have a valid Driver's License and acceptable Motor Vehicle Record
