Job Description
Overview
The Medical Assistant supports the medical and nursing staff in providing care and comfort to infant, toddler, preschool, school-age, adolescent, and young adult patients during outpatient clinic appointments byperforming routine clinical and clerical tasks. In addition, the Medical Assistant is responsible for phlebotomy and assisting with the application and removal of casts.
Schedule for the PRN staff member varies, but requires availability Monday - Friday 8 a.m. - 4 p.m. to cover PTO for staff members and assist on busy clinic days.
