Reports To: Site Manager

About the Role

As the Operations Manager, you will play a pivotal role in driving the success of our warehouse operations. You’ll be responsible for leading a high-performing team, ensuring operational excellence, and delivering outstanding service to our customers. This position requires a proactive leader who thrives in a dynamic environment and is passionate about continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

  • Direct and mentor warehouse personnel, including supervisors, leads, and associates, fostering a culture of teamwork and accountability.
  • Manage all aspects of daily warehouse operations, including receiving, shipping, and inventory management, to meet organizational goals.
  • Develop, implement, and enforce standard operating procedures (SOPs) to maximize efficiency and maintain compliance.
  • Uphold strict safety, health, and environmental standards in accordance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Oversee inventory accuracy through regular audits, cycle counts, and reconciliation activities.
  • Collaborate closely with transportation, procurement, and customer service teams to ensure seamless operations and timely order fulfillment.
  • Monitor and analyze operational metrics and KPIs, using data-driven insights to identify opportunities for process enhancements.
  • Champion cost-saving initiatives, optimize warehouse layout, and streamline workflows to boost productivity.
  • Lead projects focused on process automation and technology adoption to support business growth.
  • Build and maintain effective relationships with external partners, including vendors, carriers, and third-party providers.
  • Prepare and present comprehensive performance reports to senior leadership.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Operations, Business Administration, or a related discipline (preferred).
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in warehouse or distribution management, with at least 2 years in a leadership capacity.
  • Proficient in warehouse management systems (WMS), inventory control, and logistics operations.
  • Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze data, manage budgets, and implement process improvements.
  • In-depth knowledge of OSHA regulations and workplace safety best practices.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, results-oriented environment.

Salary Range: $85,000-$100,000
