We’re seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Accounting Assistant to support our accounting department with daily financial tasks. This role will involve transaction management, data entry, report preparation, and general clerical responsibilities to ensure accounting accuracy and compliance. Key Responsibilities: Accurately enter and categorize financial transactions Support Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) functions Post AP and AR entries into QuickBooks Assist with preparing and posting journal entries Reconcile bank accounts and maintain account accuracy Ensure timely and accurate cash disbursements Perform general ledger entries and adjustments Maintain and organize digital and physical filing systems Complete clerical and administrative tasks to support the accounting team Qualifications & Skills: Experience in an accounting or bookkeeping role Hands-on experience in Accounts Payable and/or Accounts Receivable Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and general computer/software use QuickBooks experience is a strong plus Attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and reconciliations Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask Effective communication and teamwork abilities
