Bloom Logistics Inc looking for experienced BC
Independent Service Provider for Fedex in Decatur, IL
This position oversees and is responsible for the day-to-day operations of FedEx package delivery services. The manager will have a strong daily presence at the terminal to ensure smooth day-to-day operation, as well as build and maintain strong, positive working relationship with all FedEx employees.
The right candidate will be adaptable with a strong work ethic, confidence, business ownership mentality.
Pay is negotiable
Managing Delivery Operations
Overseeing the dispatch of routes, managing driver schedules, assign and manage pickups, and ensuring timely delivery of packages.
Provide daily guidance to drivers using FedEx route codes.
Ensure driver compliance with paperwork, Hours of Service (HOS), and Pre-Trip/Post-Trip inspections.
Maintaining Fleet and Safety
Manage driver rosters, including hiring and training new drivers. Certified Trainer qualification preferred.
Ensuring vehicles are properly maintained and that drivers adhere to safety regulations.
Communication and Coordination
Interacting with FedEx Ground management, other BCs, and independent contractors to resolve issues and ensure smooth operations
Maintain a professional work ethic and demonstrate reliability.
Must pass background check, drug test, hold a valid driver's license, and maintain a clean motor vehicle record.
