Job Title: Facilities Maintenance TechnicianJob Description

We are seeking a skilled Facilities Maintenance Technician to support our manufacturing floor and entire facility. This role involves performing typical maintenance tasks, detecting and reporting defective materials, and maintaining equipment and work areas in a clean and orderly condition. The technician will also perform preventative maintenance on machinery and the building or grounds as required.

Responsibilities

• Perform typical facilities and maintenance tasks to support the manufacturing floor and entire facility.
• Detect and report defective materials or questionable conditions to the department supervisor.
• Maintain the work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition and follow prescribed safety regulations.
• Perform prescribed preventative maintenance on machinery and the building or grounds as required.

Essential Skills

• Facilities maintenance experience
• Knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems
• Experience in a manufacturing environment
• Ability to perform carpentry, basic plumbing, machine repair, painting, and janitorial tasks
• Familiarity with hand tools and power tools common to the skills listed
• Ability to read and interpret drawings, sketches, O.E.M. instructions, and specifications

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• High school or tech school education
• 3 years of manufacturing-related experience in a cleanroom environment
• Experience managing facilities-related projects
• Comfortable working in a team environment with outside contractors
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Work Environment

The role is based in a cleanroom facility, requiring adherence to cleanliness and safety standards. You will work with both internal teams and outside contractors to maintain a seamless operation.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of Carlsbad, California.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $26.00/hr.
