Senior level role:

PR: $70.24

Junior- mid level role:

PR: $57.52

Interview Process: 1 round panel – wants everyone hired by Sept 30th (interviews Thursday afternoon & Friday)

Must Haves:

• 5+ years in infrastructure engineering, capacity planning, or systems architecture
• Strong understanding of virtualization, containerization, and cloud hosting strategies
• Experience with microservices, internal application architecture, and data center operations
• Proficiency in monitoring tools and forecasting methodologies
• Ability to interpret technical architecture and translate it into actionable capacity plans
• Familiarity with Agile processes and tools like JIRA

Pluses:

• Infrastructure architecture background
• ITSM/Geneos experience
• Experience with AppDynamics/Dynatrace, and/or Splunk
• Experience with True Sight Capacity Optimizer

Day to Day:

Insight Global is seeking 4 Performance Engineer’s to join one of our largest financial clients. This person will be joining the Performance Engineering & Capacity Management Organization within APSE. Global Markets is newly transitioning into this support model, and this team is leading the migration and onboarding of performance and capacity functions for over 600+ applications. This is a high-impact opportunity to shape how capacity is managed across a complex, distributed environment — bringing legacy systems into alignment with modern methodologies and governance standards. This role is critical in ensuring our internal applications and hosting environments are scalable, resilient, and optimized for performance. You’ll work closely with application teams, infrastructure architects, and program managers to forecast demand, assess architectural constraints, and build capacity models that prevent outages and support business growth.

Their job duties in include:

• Design and maintain capacity models for internal applications and systems
• Analyze infrastructure architecture including servers, data centers, failover strategies, and virtualization platforms
• Monitor system performance and proactively identify capacity risks
• Collaborate with application terms to understand volume impacts and forecast future demand
• Evaluate and optimize hosting environments, including containerization and microservices architecture
• Break down customer and internal usage volumes to inform infrastructure scaling
• Implement monitoring and alerting strategies to ensure system health
• Contribute to infrastructure strategy across content servers, database servers, and virtual hosting platforms
• Support process alignment with Agile, Scrum, and JIRA methodologies in partnership with program managers
